Tree Dedication

E J Thias Tree dedication Sunset Hills Missouri.
Linda Virga speaks to the crowd about E J Thias and how he taught watercolor to many over the 45 years that she knew him. Linda attended E J Thias first class and his last class and is his Alpha Omega Student.
Joyce Franklin, Sunset Hills historian read a Hopi Indian prayer that she chose for the dedication.
Hopi Indian Prayer
Do not stand by my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand diamond glints in the snow.
I am the sunlight on the ripened grain.
I am the autumns gentle rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the uplifting rush of a quiet bird in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand by my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.
